6th Annual Moab Ho-Down MTB Festival & MTB Film Fest

The 6th Annual Moab Ho Down will take place on October 27, 28, 29 and 30, 2011 and is sponsored by The North Face.

The Moab Ho-Down features a Super D Race, DH Race, townie tour, MTB film festival, dirt jump competition, outrageous costume party, prizes, pepper eating contest, raffles and flying pumpkins! If that sounds like your kind of event then take a road trip to Moab this October and join the fun. We expanded the format of the festival last year with the first annual Moab Mountain Bike Film Fest and we are doing the MTB film fest again this year since it was a big hit!

Submissions for the film festival must be submitted by October 15th. Race registration is open from August 1st through October 28th. I'll be there as well. Doing the DH race. Looks like a pretty fun time. I've only ridden XC in Moab so it should be interesting.

Don't forget to make a stop at moab cycle. The folks there are awesome! It never matters how many times you get to moab. It's always a sad day to leave.

porcupine rim is the most fun trail i have ever ridden. and it looks like thats where the downhill race takes place. needless to say i want to go

Sickest part is the pepper-eating contest. I would like to see a freeride challenge at Bartlett Wash. Great place to get lost.
